Our Motto: "Totus Tuus"

"Totus Tuus" was the motto chosen by St. John Paul II during his pontificate.  The phrase is Latin and means "Totally Yours."  As Christians, we can entrust ourselves to Mary, the Mother of God, knowing with confidence that she always points us to her Son, Jesus.  Mary, who said yes (Fiat) to God in all things, is the perfect model of Christian virtue.

The origin of the words comes from St. Louis de Montfort's prayer of consecration to Mary.  St. John Paul II entrusted his apostolic work to God through a total consecration to the Mother of Our Lord.

At Pope John Paul II Academy, we wish to emulate this motto by dedicating all of our school's activity to Jesus through the loving patronage of Mary, the Mother of God.
